The Oasis Crescent Balanced Stable Fund of Funds seeks to provide investors with moderate capital appreciation and moderate income growth based on a selection of underlying investments.

To achieve this objective, the portfolio is well diversified by asset class in accordance with existing prudential investment regulations.

The Oasis Crescent Balanced Stable Fund of Funds is managed in accordance with Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act 24 of 1956. The portfolio has a low equity exposure commensurate with that typically displayed by an asset allocation prudential low equity portfolio.

The Oasis Crescent Balanced Stable Fund of Funds is a Shari’ah compliant fund.

The Oasis Crescent Income Fund is a specialist income portfolio. The primary objective is to provide income from a selection of underlying investments. The portfolio will consist of a combination of domestic and foreign short-term and/or long-term securities.

The portfolio may also include participatory interests and investments in schemes other than South Africa to provide investors with greater diversification. Where these schemes are operated in countries other than South Africa, they will be able to provide high levels of investor security.

The Oasis Balanced Stable Fund of Funds is a specialist, asset allocation prudential portfolio that has a moderate equity exposure and a low risk coefficient.  The portfolio will be made up of underlying collective investment schemes, which are comprised of:

• Domestic and international listed equities
• Property
• Bonds
• Money market assets.

The primary objective is to provide moderate capital appreciation and the secondary objective is to provide moderate income growth based on a selection of underlying investments.

The Oasis Money Market Unit Trust Fund seeks to provide investors with a vehicle for capital preservation and a high degree of liquidity. In addition, a further objective of the Fund is to provide a sustainable level of income to investors in the form of a steady income stream, with coinciding low risk parameters.

The Oasis Money Market Unit Trust Fund represents a low-risk investment vehicle, as it is managed under a conservative mandate, and exposure is limited to select banking institutions with impeccable credentials and credit ratings.

The Oasis Money Market Unit Trust Fund is invested in high quality institutional money market instruments that are not available to retail investors. Such instruments would include bank deposits, bankers’ acceptance, wholesale call deposits, negotiable certificates of deposit, and other interest bearing instruments.
